Carbon Neutral

All businesses contribute to the increase in carbon dioxide emissions.

Courier Systems decided to tackle this in partnership with The

CarbonNeutral Company whose processes and projects are audited by PricewaterhouseCoopers giving both transparency and creditability.

With the assistance of the Edinburgh Center for Carbon Managment, the

leading independent body, we calculated our CO2 emissions including

all courier movements by our fleet and at the Courier Systems London

control center.

To lower these emissions we have implemented projects to minimise

our carbon footprint, introducing LPG vehicles, reducing waste and

increasing recycling at our offices.

To offset unavoidable emissions we use projects from The CarbonNeutral

Company. For every tonne of CO2 produced by Courier Systems, these

projects will offset or save a tonne of CO2 somewhere else in the world.

The following locations were chosen via a tender process;

Renewable Energy – (Methane capture) Germany PDF

Renewable Energy – (Wind Power) New Zealand PDF
